Continuing Education

​​​To remain certified for the upcoming year, Certified Professional Environmental Educators must renew their certification by January 31st. Certification renewal allows you to remain connected to the EE community in Kentucky and ensures that your knowledge and practices remain current.

To renew your certification, you must:

 

2022 Graduates

Those who completed their certification in 2022 must complete all renewal requirements except for continuing education.

Lapsed Certification

In order to regain your certified status in case your certification has lapsed, you must complete a reinstatement course in addition to the other continuing education requirements. First, contact wesley.bullock@ky.gov to confirm your certification status. Then, fill out the Reinstatement Course Application. [PDF, 381KB]

Only graduates whose certification has been lapsed for 3 years or fewer will be eligible for reinstatement, and the Reinstatement Course fee will be $25 for those whose certification has been lapsed for one year, $50 for two years, and $75 for three years.

​Renewal Forms

Submission

Submit the Annual C.E. Report Form by email to wesley.bullock@ky.gov. You are not required to submit the Self-Assessment for Environmental Educators or Code of Ethics Pledge.

Renewal Course

Along with submitting your Annual C.E. Report Form, you are required to view the Renewal Course recording.

​Renewal Course Fee

The $25 Renewal Course fee must be made payable to the Kentucky State Treasurer and mailed to KEEC, 500 Mero St., 4th Floor, Frankfort, KY 40601, and postmarked no later than 5:00 PM on January 31st of each year.​​
