​The Kentucky Green Schools (KGS)​ program is designed to inspire students to develop environmentally friendly behavior and to feel empowered to take active steps toward creating a greener and healthier world—starting with their local environment at school. ​​​

The Kentucky Atlas of Phenomena (KAP) is a resource to support science teachers throughout Kentucky implement the science standards by developing their own understanding of various natural world phenomena that are common to Kentucky and the disciplinary core ideas (DCIs) needed to explain those phenomena.

Trained environmental educators design, assist and implement energy and environmental programs in Kentucky's schools. The Office of Energy Policy supports several grant-funded projects that foster excellence in energy and environmental learning.
